The Story
Gold is a chemical element with atomic number 79 and its symbol is Au (from the Latin aurum ). It is a soft, heavy, ductile, malleable transition metal with a yellow color, due to the absorption of blue wavelengths from incident light. Unassailable by most chemical compounds, it practically reacts only with aqua regia and the cyanide ion. With mercury it forms an amalgam, but not a chemical compound. It is found in its native state in the form of nuggets, grains and flakes in rocks and alluvial deposits. In nature it is a soft, ductile and heavy transition metal, in the metallic state of a yellowish color, present in alluvial deposits in the form of nuggets, grains and flakes. Three fundamental parameters connected to this precious mineral are the mechanical property, physical property and biological property. Let's see them in detail.
Uses in history
Gold is an innovator of vital energy and DNA. Cleopatra had already discovered its benefits in ancient times, and today it is well known that it is a luxury active ingredient in cosmetics because it improves the cleansing and toning of the face , penetrates deep into the epidermis and promotes blood circulation, drainage of lymph nodes and the production of elastin and collagen. Gold in cosmetics is truly capable of stimulating the production of elastic fibers, and its detoxifying and anti-inflammatory properties allow the skin to free itself from aggressions and free radicals.
Especially for those who want to reduce wrinkles and/or prevent their formation, cosmetics containing gold stimulate the production of collagen, the protein that can keep the skin young and elastic. It also has strong antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, especially in combination with colloidal silver, so it can act on acne-related skin lesions or prevent infections. Its action also acts on the tightening of pores even though it is not a true astringent.
